Milton Village:

Barnabas Court

Recognising the need for specially designed accommodation for older people in Milton, Cambridge Housing Society built Barnabas Court in 2000. This was a partnership development initiative with the Parish Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council.

Situated close to the community centre and not far from other village facilities, the accommodation comprises spacious one and two bedroom flats with communal lounges where residents can meet if they wish. The common rooms are also used by other village organisations such as the Day Centre.

Cambridge Housing Society employs a scheme manager, Debbie Driver (tel 578632), who lives on site and who provides support to residents when necessary.

If you are interested in living in Barnabas Court note that applications are restricted to people aged 55 or over who have a connection with the village.

Cambridge Housing Society run Barnabas Court under Home-Link and before you can bid for a place at Barnabas Court you must register on their site.

It's also worth giving your name and telephone number or e-mail address to the Parish Council so that they can notify you when there is an opening at Barnabas Court.
