There is essentially one bus service though Milton, the 9 plus the Park & Ride service which run from Butt Lane to the west of the village. There is also the Citi 2 which runs from the Science Park south of the village but that's the other side of the A14.
All services go Cambridge city centre and the Park & Ride and Citi 2 buses continue to Addenbrooke's hospital.
Going in the other direction some 9 services goes to Ely and beyond.
We are poorly served for evening buses and no Sunday service at all.
We have live bus times available on our site.
The Cambridge area is well served with buses and the County Council have details of bus timetables for the Cambridge area here.
Stagecoach in Cambridge have some details of their services online including route maps and details of their fares.
Using Cambridge Buses
It's worth noting that generally speaking it's cheaper to buy a Dayrider rather than a return if you're going all the way into the city centre. This offers unlimited travel for a day within Cambridge and the satellite villages and it's well worth considering, especially if you want to change buses.
In addition Park & Ride tickets (which are cheaper) give you free access to all Citi services, which cover much the same ground as Dayrider. So you can walk to the Park & Ride site, take the Park & Ride bus into town, and then use your Park & Ride ticket to get about. Sadly you can't use the Park & Ride ticket on the 9 so you have to go back to the site when you're done.
