There are three bus services though Milton, the Citi 2 the 9 and the X9, plus the Park & Ride service which run from Butt Lane to the west of the village.
All four services go Cambridge city centre and the Citi 2 and Park & Ride buses continue to Addenbrooke's hospital.
Going in the other direction some Citi 2 services go to Waterbeach and the 9 and X9 goes to Ely with some 9s going on to Littleport and X9s to Chatteris and beyond.

Using Cambridge Buses
It's worth noting that generally speaking it's cheaper to buy a Dayrider rather than a return if you're going all the way into the city centre. This offers unlimited travel for a day within Cambridge and the satellite villages and it's well worth considering, especially if you want to change buses.
For example the Citi 2 service is a rather more frequent than the 9 or X9 but takes a "round the houses" route so if you're going to Addenbrooke's or even to the town centre it's a frustratingly long journey.
A better option may be to take the Citi 2 to the stop opposite the entrance to the Science Park1, hop off there and catch the next Park and Ride bus (there's one every ten minutes so your average wait should only be five minutes). Your Dayrider is valid on that bus. It stops at both the city centre (The Grafton2 and Emmanuel Street) and Addenbrooke's on the way to Babraham Road.
