Some basic information on the forthcoming bus service changes from 16th April, forwarded from the "cambridge-pt" newsgroup. Citi 2 is also being amended at its southern end. Thanks to a correspondent to the Anglia Bus News website for the information. The site does not always work in the way you expect eg I cannot find any reference to the current licence for the 19A to Littleport. Also the site still uses the names Cambus and Viscount so the X7 and X9 are registered to Viscount. Search using Cambus* and Viscount* although it can be quite tolerant. Don't put in Stagecoach unless you want to see all their variations for the whole country! The site indicates that Stagecoach are cancelling the registrations for all their Cambridge to Ely services - 19, 19A, 104, 105, 106, 122 and X12 and replacing them with 9 - the Littleport service, hourly, X9 Cambridge - Chatteris hourly extended to Peterborough via March every two hours. X7 March to Cambridge via Chatteris (but Ely is not mentioned) - 1 peak journey each way per day and 12. No mention of Wisbech on the X7/9. Some of the changes were only received on Tuesday this week. The information can be very sparse - eg no timetable or detailed route. There are some other changes that had passed me by which are timetable changes to the 2 and a new 8 to operate between Fen Estate and Coral Park.
