Because in the 15 years or more that I have been going to the Milton surgery
I have witnessed a range of medical help from excellence to quackery; and
this has depended on the doctor and his/her expertise. I have also
witnessed good patient management to downright rudeness and incompetence.
I have had one doctor diagnose and prescribe one medicine for a condition
with an instruction to return for a follow up. When the time for follow up
came I ended up seeing a different doctor who then decided that the medicine
I had been given was incorrect and then proceeded to prescribe another
medicine. When this medicine did not work, I went back to the surgery and
ended up seeing a locum doctor who then prescribed a third type of medicine.
By the way I don't go to the surgery when I get a sore throat or 'flu....
