It looks like they've already dug up (and filled in) the soft verge from Shirley Close eastwards and there's a pile of blue pipes in the layby opposite so I think that's exactly what they have in mind. Someone told Beth this morning (I think they must be a lurker on this list as they knew I'd mentioned it here) that they're laying fibre. But why and for whom I've no idea and I've not seen anyone to ask. -- Paul
