Ah, a sensible solution. Well done Theresa.
The positioning of parent/child parking annoys me. I've absolutely no
problem with the concept in general but why does it have to be next to
the entrance to a store? Unlike the disabled children can walk, or be
pushed, and having them is a choice. It's particularly surreal at Milton
Tesco where I think I'm right in saying that since the last re-vamp of
the car park the P&C parking is nearer the entrance than the disabled!
So a good opening gambit at Milton Tesco, which might help with Shan's
problem too, would be for them to simply swap the disabled with the P&C
parking. Then there would be a lot less incentive for the inconsiderate
to park in the P&C parking as it would be a little further away from the
entrance.
And having done that it's then easier to police the disabled parking as
users have to have a blue badge so it would be easier for Tesco to keep
the low life out (not that they will mind you, but that's the theory).
