Which still begs the question - what are the interested parties going to do
about the current state of affairs?
I was expecting someone to say "There's a campaign group writing letters and
lobbying and running a petition, and if that doesn't work we're going to
continue to appeal, and whilst that's going on a group of parents are
looking into funding our own bus and another group are looking at posting
volunteers along the route to keep it safe, and another group are looking at
setting up a lift share scheme." I haven't heard any of that yet. It appears
that people are going to look after their own kids and to heck with everyone
else.
