And did we all make an effort to support it while it was open? I'm afraid I
only went in once (just for a drink), though I did put their little
sandwich-board back up a few times after it blew over. 2 for £9.95, it said,
though it wasn't exactly clear what you got two of - perhaps I'm being
pernickety, as the plate/knife/fork icon suggested it was probably two
meals.
I heard one report of the food being excellent. It must be very difficult
though to get the business going again after it's been shut for a while -
the other 3 pubs seem to do OK, and presumably cater for their 'niche'. If
the JB ever had any 'regulars', they'd presumably have defected during the
long closed period.
