I have just had the decision notice from the Planning Inspectorate on the Appeal for the hotel by the Jane Coston Bridge. The inspector was clearly listening to us when we told him that that small fragile piece of Green Belt is important to the character of Milton as a village, separating us from Cambridge. It was a very finely balanced decision, and it's clear to me that having 4 members of the Parish Council including your 2 district councillors at the appeal hearing made all the difference.
