Well, it depends on what you mean by fixed:
"Connectivity is back": Yes, our services were restored by the time I
got up this morning.
"The box has been repaired": No, not really. His quick fix is
obviously in place, but there's exposed wiring and god knows what on
show, exposed to the elements. The metalwork inside the box was so
badly bent that he couldn't put the plastic cover back on properly,
and when I saw him try to straighten it there was some impressive
arcing.
It now has a red/white guard fence around it, so presumably the
intention is to return and fix it properly, although I imagine that
will basically involve replacing it completely, which will presumably
disrupt services while it's done.
