Maybe most people are so gobsmacked at the ridiculousness of it, they
can't actually think of anything polite enough to say on milton-chat, so
are just gibbering in a corner muttering "health and safety going mad"
over and over again until they have calmed down! Maybe the High Street
should have been closed to all traffic as some people were driving at a
silly speed and it was a bit icy? Those people driving too fast might
have encouraged others to do the same.
Oh, an addition to Stephen's large and sensible notice. "If you die, you
will be eligible for a Darwin Award, but you will not be eligible to sue
the Park as you have been warned of the avoidable danger!".
