I did the same this morning when I got to top of Butt Lane and saw the traffic - turned left and went on A10 instead - lots of cars but moved steadily so no extra time taken really. (A colleague lives in Waterbeach and always cuts through Milton (grrr) - I was at work before her this morning as it took her 40 mins and me only 10) ususally she is always here before me!!! (I normally cycle) I HATE THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS!! >> I decided to go via the A10 when I saw the queue, The latter, I reckon. I gave up on Milton High Street and headed down the A10 instead this morning. --
