Duchess of Cambridge in MiltonThe Duchess of Cambridge has announced that she has accepted the position of Royal Patron of EACH, the charity which runs a children hospice here in Milton. This is one of only four charities she's taken under her wing, the others being Action on Addiction, the Art Room and the National Portrait Gallery. Milton Foodshare looking for volunteersDid you know that the allotments in Milton (down by the golf course) provides food for the hospice? Allotment holders put their surplus produce into the 'Foodshare' bin and a loyal group of volunteers are allocated a day or two each week and on those days, check the bin and take any produce directly to the hospice. read more ...
