Oliver Cromwell back again

Our old friend Britannia Pacific 70013 Oliver Cromwell is steaming past Milton this Thursday morning at around 10:45 hauling "The Broadsman" - a very special train as it will be the first steam train to go from the main line onto the North Norfolk Railway line since the crossing at Sheringham shut 40 year ago.  read more ...

New Hairdressers

We now have a new ladies' hairdressers in the village. Archie Rogers has been open for a couple of weeks now in the unit next to the post office on Coles Road which was previously a bridal shop.

Entrance to Village Closed

A reminder that the slip road from the A14/A10 roundabout down to the "Tesco" roundabout is closed this Sunday starting at 4pm for re-surfacing overnight. It is scheduled to re-open at 8am on Monday morning but we're assuming they are aiming to re-open it before the morning rush hour ...
