Jane persuaded me we should have an article about the village web site in "Village View". Here it is.

The article text read:

On 22nd October this year Paul Oldham, webmaster of Milton Village websitc, posted the 1000th article. Paul originally created this award winning website when he first moved to the village because before he moved here he looked up Milton on the Web and could not find anything out about the area. Since then Paul has created one of the most comprehensive village websites in the area which has now been running for four and a half years. Initially this was a private venture but it has now been adopted by the parish council who keep their section up to date. On the website you can find news about the village which is updated at least once a week, parish council agendas and minutes, a directory of all organisations in the village, history articles and photos of the village. You can find out more about Paul at the-hug.org/paul. There will be a small prize for anyone who can tell us why Paul and Beth's website is called 'The Hug' - the answer can be found on one of their websites.
