Yes.

Seems to work for me most of the time. I listen to Radio 5 at my desk
that way (the PC has a radio, but it only does VHF not MW) and also
BBC7, 6Music and KOZT which is a Californian radio station. I also use
the "listen again" feature to listen to programmes on BBC7 and Radio 4.

Yes. 1.5Mbs (and I'm running Realplayer 10 on various Linux PCs and
laptops depending on where I am around the house).

Nope. The BBC servers do get overloaded sometimes mind you, increasingly
so of late, but on the whole it works very well.
