The Scout Group is a family comprising the four sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts). Its aim is to promote the development of young people by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training guided by adult leadership. This course is suitable for learners with basic drawing and painting skills, who have developed the necessary skills and knowledge to progress to an improver course. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills focusing on elements such as composition, colour mixing and tone. Learning in a creative and relaxed way, you will explore various drawing techniques using charcoal, pencil and graphite pencils and develop a deeper understanding of painting through working on some longer, more sustained work as well as quicker, more gestural work. There will be 5 weeks of drawing followed by 5 weeks of painting.

A social group for parents/carers of babies from birth until they are walking. Make friends, chat and enjoy refreshments whilst your baby feeds/sleeps/plays. We have plenty of baby toys, a nappy-changing area and bottle/food-warming facilities.

We are a friendly adult group with male and female players of all levels from beginners to league level. We have members of various nationalities - we do not play matches with any other groups, as it is purely recreational and as competitive as you wish to make it.
You can attend any Tuesday and times to suit yourself during the session for all or part of the evening. We currently have an average attendance of 10-12 p/w and have two courts, generally play doubles on a mix and match basis and singles if numbers allow as players leave during the session.
You would be very welcome to come and meet us before you decide or just turn up and join in.

Milton Country Park has a dedicated off-road cycle course, and club coaches are experienced and British Cycling trained. These sessions offer a great opportunity to practice different cycling disciplines and skills and even take part in off-road races.

New members (and helpers) welcome - whether you've been involved with Guiding before or not! We run two Guide units for girls aged ten and over: one group meet on Mondays and the other on Thursdays but all the girls get to take part in a range of interesting and challenging activities including crafts, cooking, camping - from a programme they help to design. They work together in patrols, to learn teamwork and make new friends. Guides offers girls the opportunity to join in with weekend and holiday activities including a Guides only pop concert (the Big Gig), annual water-sports weekend, hikes and sleepovers. There are opportunities to work towards awards including the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and sometimes to join groups on international trips. Older girls can move to Seniors, and/or remain in Guiding as young leaders. Extra adult leaders are very welcome, either as regular helpers or more occasionally to help with specific events. No experience is necessary as training can be provided.

Let's Run Girls is a social women's running community. We offer weekly steady 5k runs as well as regular couch to 5k beginners programmes for women looking to get started in running. We aim to start beginners programmes in January, April and September each year. Check out our website for updates.

This is a mums and babies class, which focuses on core and pelvic floor restoration in the early postnatal period. The class is suitable as soon as you’ve had your 6-8 week GP check (10 weeks if you've had a c-section). We aim to build a strong foundation, before reintroducing you to more intense exercise. A great way to regain body confidence and function, as well as meeting other local mums.

This group fitness class is much more than just an exercise class. We will bust many pregnancy exercise myths, helping you to prepare mentally and physically for birth, motherhood and beyond. The class focuses on safe and effective exercise, relaxation techniques, birth education, introducing you to other mums / mums-to-be, as well as aiming to keep your pregnancy as healthy and happy as possible. All people who look after another person's child, who are not a close relative, for more than two hours in any one day, must be registered with Ofsted. This involves practical training, first aid and a CRB check. There are 12 registered child minders in Milton at present. Most of them know each other, and meet regularly either at each others homes, Toddlers, or school times. The group also has meetings throughout the year at which we discuss ideas, outings, problems etc.
The Community Cafe provides beverages, cakes and biscuits on a first come, first served basis. There is conversation, board games and a craft table. Small charge to cover costs of room hire and consumables. Run by volunteers, we welcome all in Milton.

Members' interests are varied, and there is a good deal of expertise in various areas of photography represented. The programme is varied and includes invited speakers, money raising events, prayer and worship and social gatherings. Membership is open to all who want to support family life in all its forms.

An opportunity to fine tune your open water swimming technique before your next Triathlon or swimming event. The session includes a safety boat on the lake at all times. All we ask is that you can swim 400m freestyle without rest and be able to tread water easily. Why not cycle to the park, swim in the lake and then take advantage of Parkrun being here too and compete in your own mini triathlon every Saturday?
Milton Country Park is an accredited school with the British Stand Up Paddle Association (BSUPA) and offers plenty of opportunities to experience SUP with our experienced instructors, including taster sessions, a full half day course, parties and club sessions. Minimum height 1.3m.

We are a charity-run pre-school based at the primary school site in Humphries Way and have been established for over 20 years. We aim to provide a friendly and secure environment in which all children can learn, thrive and develop friendships through play. We want all our children to be happy and fulfil their potential. We also offer children and their parents and carers a setting which promotes equality and values diversity.
Fortnightly minibus service to Tesco for anyone who is elderly and infirm and without transport. The minibus runs on a Monday morning every other week and residents have approximately an hour at Tesco before their return journey. This is not only a useful service for residents but is also a social event for many.
