I think a DAB radio with rechargeable batteries (like the Philips offering) and a charging cradle (not like the Philips offering sadly) is the answer for portable radio until they get the power consumption of the chipset down. BTW I've also heard a lot of people complain about the poor audio quality of DAB compared to Sky, Freeview or even VHF with a good aerial. What's your view. -- Paul
