Don't tell anyone! They'll change the phasing of the lights to make it more
difficult again (or easier for one of the other queues). It's rare I'm in
the car, but I notice the Cambridge Road queue while cycling by, and I
haven't seen a really bad one in the morning for quite some time now.
On the subject of cars: I whinged by email to Tesco a couple of days ago
that their pay-at-pump-only card readers often can't read cards, even newish
cards which always work in other places. And once you've pulled up at a pump
which doesn't allow you to pay at the kiosk, it's difficult to do anything
about it. In view of subsequent fuel-contamination news, they'll probably
reply that I should be glad I failed to obtain any of their petrol!
