Not good. Too late to make a fuss now - one should have been made at the
time.
Re CGB route, apparently the trees were actually felled in Feb, but the
felled trees are only now being taken away. So technically it's within
the Wildlife and Countryside Act as OK procedure that is within the letter
of the law, although possibly not within the spirit of it - since I guess
a bird might nest in a dead tree that's showing little signs of coming
into life.
