While on the subject of buses, I noticed today that the insides of the
brick-built shelters opposite the Waggon & Horses pub and in Cambridge Road
have been given a coat of paint to - presumably - cover up the graffiti.
While the one in Cambridge Road has been painted in a pleasing colour, the
Waggon & Horses shelter has been done in an awful olive green - ugh!
Does the PC not possess a high-pressure water jetting system which would be
more cost-effective in removing graffiti than painting over them, as before
long I suspect that graffiti artists will return to 'redecorate' the
shelters in question (if you ask me nicely, I can see if my employer can
sell you one...).
Oh, by the way, could someone have a look at the Cambridge Road shelter as
its light wasn't working when I passed it yesterday evening.
Martin.
