Not more than an extra km to the centre of Waterbeach....so not really a very long way round....perhaps an extra 5 minutes even with the trailer, and worth while for such a beautiful route. I might have a cycle along there this afternoon if it is not too warm. I'd choose it over the A10 almost every time, unless perhaps it had been tipping down with rain, because the bike picks up too much of the surface sandy stuff. Dawn
