That's the bit they didn't say to me. It's an interesting observation.
That implies the land fill site is taking in around 100,000m3 of waste a
year. Do we have any independent way of checking that figure?
... not that it makes any real difference mind you: the way we're going
is that land fill rates are surely going to reduce (through a
combination of market pressures brought on by land fill tax, transport
costs and the increase in re-cycling) so even without them making the
hole bigger the chances of needing yet another extension after 2020 must
be pretty likely.
