Volunteer now found. Thanks for that. And thanks to those who warned me of the latest visit by clothes collectors (see www.miltonvillage.org.uk/opus1163.html if you're not on the milton-news list). They didn't leaflet here this time so I didn't know they were coming. And getting the information in early does seems to have stirred SCDC into action. It would be nice to get rid of these guys - it's depressing how many people around the village are still falling for the leaflets.
