I see another clothing collection leaflet is doing the rounds of the
village - this time by an organisation calling themselves Realmday.
A few weeks ago someone on this group mentioned that one of the beacons at
the new zebra crossing outside Tesco's (on the Cambridge side of the road)
was obscured by tree branches, and also wasn't working. While the tree
branches have been cut back, the beacon still isn't "flashing". What is
causing the holdup (if the County need someone to repair it - for a small
fee - I have a City & Guilds in Electronic Servicing)?
A few weeks ago, someone mentioned to me on a no.19 evening journey that the
Citi 2 service which currently serves most of Chesterton is being extended
to serve Milton from sometime next month, operating northbound through the
village and southbound via the bypass. Is there any truth in this?
Martin.
