I thought this might amuse you all. It's from an article on the proposed
Mereham new town development at Stretham tonight's CEN online edition:
"On the A10, the company will be submitting a separate application to
widen the road from its 7.3 metres to 10 metres, providing space for
vehicles to overtake.
The present single carriageway has been blamed for growing congestion
and a large number of accidents in recent years.
The developers also want to widen the cycle and pedestrian bridge across
the A14 at Milton - so that buses can go across it."
One wonders if they've actually looked at the bridge. I can't see any
way one could widen it without starting over!
