But the answer to your "why bother" question is: if you've not got a TV licence. We haven't so Freeview and Sky are out and DAB or the internet are our only options for digital radio. However internet radio only works if you've got a wireless LAN and a laptop handy and DAB radios are notorious for eating up batteries at a ferocious rate so don't really make sense when you're moving about. -- Paul
