The Boundary Commission is looking to reduce the number of parliamentary contstinuencies. It is proposed that Milton becomes part of Cambridge City for parliamentary elections only. The local authority boundaries remain unchanged.

There are four public hearings taking place in the Eastern region:

31 October – 1 November – Chelmsford

3 – 4 November – Norwich

7 – 8 November – Luton

10 – 11 November – Cambridge
