Cambridge Open Studios in Milton

Cambridge Open Studios 2016

July heralds the start of Open Studio season. Three Milton studios are open to the public on the weekends of 9th & 10th and 16th & 17th July from 11am until 6pm.

We have jewellers Cheryl Bird and Linda Bartlett showcasing their beautiful silver and gold jewellery inspired by nature and incorporating sea-glass, pearls and semi-precious stones. Their work can be found at the studio in the garden of 6 Cambridge Road.

In Hall End, off Fen Road, Chris Thomas will be showing his dazzling photographs taken through a microscope, with postcards and prints available. His daughter Louise Thomas is showing her unique patchwork pieces and will have quilts and everyday items on display. Also in Hall End is professional illustrator and printmaker Alison Hullyer showing her new drypoint prints. She will also have her range of screen printed tea towels, coasters and cards, which you may have seen on sale at Anglesey Abbey.

So look out for the yellow flags springing up around the village and surrounding areas.

You can pick up free guides, which include a map showing over 300 artists taking part, from the Post Office, Community Centre and many other places. To find out more see:
