Milton resident, Stephen Bennett, will be running the Great Newham London 10K on Sunday 17th of July to raise money for Cambridge Sport Lake Trust the charity who run Milton Country Park. Stephen has been a regular Park user for at least 15 years, and since the Park relies on income from its users to support its operating costs, he is looking to help raise money for the Park. In his words “The Great Newham 10K may not be the most challenging run but for me it is the only chance I’m likely to get to cross the finish line in the London Olympic Stadium, and whilst doing that for myself it would be good to help Milton Country Park, where I normally run.”
