The Enterprise Community Hero Awards are in recognition of Publicans and the exceptional contributions they make to their local communities. The Community Hero Awards recognise those Publicans who make a real difference to the communities that they serve. It’s more than just pulling great pints, offering wonderful food or creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s about real heart and going above and beyond the usual call of duty for a Publican to bring people together and have a positive impact on the local community.

The community events, initiatives or activities don’t have to be big; just positive: championing football teams, showcasing locals’ art on your walls, raising money for a charity, offering a meeting space to local committees, or even acting as the local post office are all brilliant examples of being a Community Hero.

We are delighted to say the LION & LAMB, Milton were recognised as one of East Anglia Regional Winners at last night’s awards. Part of that prize means we now have £1,000 to be spend on worthy causes within our Community – that makes us winners all round!
