In December County Council chiefs approved a £2 million transport boost for Cambridge that aims to reduce congestion, improve health and help support the growth of the local economy. Of the 20 schemes announced the one of most direct benefit to the village is the creation of a shared use pedestrian/cycleway between Milton and Landbeach.

Clayhithe Bridge Strengthening
Work to strengthen the bridge over the Cam at Clayhithe just north of Milton are due to commence this Tuesday (15/1). The anticipated duration of the works is eight weeks. Working hours for works affecting the road shall be 9:30am to 3:30pm are likely to include temporary 2-way traffic lights which may affect your journey.
