Information

Clubbercise, is a dance fitness class which is storming the nation.

Clubbercise with Amelia classes are at The Milton Community Centerevery Thursday evening at 6.15 - 7.15pm.

Clubbercise classes are taught in a darkened room with disco lighting and flashing glow sticks set to uplifting club tunes. Tracks include anything from 90’s classics to the latest chart-toppers from the likes of Rudimental or David Guetta. The atmosphere is amazing! A high energy cardio, tone and combat workout. A friendly, inclusive and welcoming fitness community.

“I absolutely love finding new ways to help people keep fit - it’s something I’m really passionate about. when I discovered Clubbercise three years ago, I just knew other people would absolutely love it. I have loved exercising to manydance exercise programmes and formats for years and holding my Exercise to Music Level 2 industry qualification, I qualified as a Clubbercise Instructor in January 2020 and set up online classes firstly as the pandemic took my initial plans in a different direction. The routines are easy-to-follow which means you can really let go and enjoy the music, and you do not need to be a dancer. Plus, the classes appeal to a wide range of people because they’re so much fun and in the darkened environment, people feel less exposed and it doesn’t feel like a workout! The benefits though are amazing for physical fitness and for mental wellbeing” Amelia.

Classes are £6.50 online, £7 on the door and access to a 10 class pass monthly booking for £50 saving cost on booking more than one class a week.

Glow sticks can be purchased for £6 a pair (these are not essential though)

For more information and class bookings please contact: Amelia on 07795 680 733

Yoga classes suitable for every body in our immersive 37° studio – drop-in class passes and memberships available
When
Classes 7 days a week
Information

Hotpod Yoga is yoga in its most potent form. Expect to sweat harder, stretch further and immerse yourself deeper. The warmth of the pod and the physicality of the flows will work your body, while the dim lights, purple hues and immersive soundscapes will calm your busy mind. Expect an intense hit of yoga. We often find that most questions can be answered by the information below, so for the quickest response please do check if it answers your query. Need to cancel, running late or missed a class? We ask you to arrive for class 10-15 minutes before class start time. Regrettably we are unable to refund your pass if you have missed the cancellation deadline or did not make it to class on time. The studio is locked whilst classes are in progress and no late arrivals can be admitted. If you are unable to make it to a class you have booked, please log in to the website or app and cancel your booked session so that your space is free for someone else to use, we are unable to process this for you via email. New to Hotpod? You will find our timetable and prices on our website. Our classes are suitable for all levels (complete beginners to intermediate practitioners) and all bookings are done through the website above. You do not need any previous yoga experience. Do check the class description on the website for a better idea of what to expect. We have parking beside the studio for evening (6pm onwards) classes and weekend classes only, otherwise please park at Tesco opposite the studio. We have changing rooms, lockers and showers for your use. We recommend wearing clothing you would be comfortable exercising in as you will get sweaty. We provide the mats, you will just need a towel, which must be big enough to cover the yoga mat end to end (at least 170cm long). You can buy or hire one from us in the studio. You will also find our FAQ's here: https://hotpodyoga.com/frequently-asked-questions/ A studio regular? If you have left something at the studio it will be placed in lost property for you to collect on your next visit. Gift vouchers are available on our 'Prices' page. If you wish to pause or cancel your membership then please note that we will require 48 hours’ notice to enable us to process this request. Class passes or memberships can be frozen for anything from a week to a month, requests must be made in advance and no extension to pass expiry dates can be made retrospectively. If the above hasn't answered your query, then our admin team will reply as soon as possible, usually during typical office hours (Mon-Fri 9-5).

Let's Run Girls is a social enterprise which aims to inspire women to lead healthier, happier and more connected lives. There are a growing number of Let’s Run Girls groups across Cambridgeshire including here in Milton.
Our free weekly run sessions are led by a dedicated team of volunteer Run Leaders who are passionate about supporting other women to stay active through running but also get into running for the first time or return after a long break. We recognise that running isn't easy, especially when starting from the beginning, but the support and accountability that a friendly group of like-minded women can really help!
If you can already run for 30 minutes or so continuously, you’re welcome to join our steady run at any time of year and if you’re looking to get started, we suggest you join our 10-12 week beginners programmes which we run a couple of times a year. We meet at 7pm on Tuesday evenings outside the Village Hall. Find out more and register at https://www.letsrungirls.com/milton or contact letsrungirlsmilton@gmail.com for more information.

The girls get to take part in a range of interesting and challenging activities including crafts, cooking, camping – from a programme they help to design. They work together in patrols, to learn teamwork and make new friends. Guides offers girls the opportunity to join in with weekend and holiday activities including a Guides only pop concert (the Big Gig), water-sports weekends, hikes and sleepovers. There are opportunities to work towards awards including the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and sometimes to join groups on international trips. Older girls can move to Seniors, and/or remain in Guiding as young leaders. Extra adult leaders are very welcome, either as regular helpers or more occasionally to help with specific events.
