More Steam Through Milton on Thursday Afternoon

There will be an unexpected bonus for steam enthusiasts this Thursday (2/9) when a rare visitor to the area SR "King Arthur" class 4-6-0 30777 "Sir Lamiel" will passing Milton with just its support coach in tow whilst en-route from Southall to the North Norfolk Railway. Full timing are online here and on that basis it should be passing Milton at about 15:20.

Is your child starting primary school this September?

Join other parents of the new foundation stage pupils for coffee, tea (and tissues if necessary!) after the school run on the BIG day Thursday, 2nd September. 9am onwards in All Saints' Church Hall. Younger siblings and children beginning school in the afternoon welcome too.

Black 5 Through Milton

This Sunday (29/8) "The Cathedrals Express" steam special will be passing Milton twice hauled by LMS/BR 'Black Five' No. 44932. Unconfirmed (at the time of writing) timetable information is available here and on that basis it should pass Milton heading north at about 13:15 and return at about 19:45.  read more ...
