Vote for your favourite place in South Cambridgeshire

Residents across South Cambridgeshire can vote for their favourite attraction in a new poll launched by South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) this week. SCDC launched its first Pride of Place Poll on Monday along with councils from all over the country. They are giving their residents the opportunity to vote for the favourite attraction in the Pride of Place Poll 2007. Simply go to www.scambs.gov.uk and follow the link on the front page.

The attractions to choose from are:

  • Denny Abbey and Farmland Museum
  • Grantchester Meadows
  • Imperial War Museum, Duxford
  • Linton Zoo
  • Milton Country Park
  • RSPB Reserve, Fowlmere
  • Shepreth Wildlife Park
  • Wandlebury Country Park
  • Wimpole Hall
  • Wood Green Animal Shelters, Heydon

The Pride of Place poll is part of the Government’s “Connect to your Council” campaign which aims to encourage citizens across England to access their local authority services online anytime, anywhere.
