While doing some research on the history of Milton Hall we came across Violet Tweedale, a Scottish author, poet, and spiritualist who lived in the hall with her husband Clarens some time around 1900. In 1919 she published a book called Ghosts I Have Seen and Other Psychic Experiences. It includes a story about a ghost in Milton Hall which we thought might amuse you.
