As previously telegraphed South Cambridgeshire District Council are moving to monthly green bin collections for the next three months (they have a page here explaining their reasons for doing this). So the next green bin collection is this Tuesday (9/12) as normal but then the next one after that won’t be until 13th January and then again on 10th February and 10th March after which we go back to fortnightly.

Blue and black bin collections remain on alternate fortnights over the winter as usual, except they are skipping the collection on Tuesday, 30th December completely. The SCDC web site has all the dates and, as ever, the village web site always has the details of the next collection in the box on the left of our home page. In addition is you are a Milton News subscriber by email then the details of the next bin collection are in the foot of every email Milton News email you receive and you follow @MiltonNews on Twitter then you will get a tweet the day before each collection.
