Golf Course to re-open as Footgolf Course

The sport of footgolf is coming to Milton following the UK governing body‘s decision to base their East of England headquarters at the 9 hole Milton Park golf course on Ely Road at the north end of the village which went into liquidation last summer. The course itself will become an 18 hole footgolf course.

Footgolf is essentially like golf only rather than using a golf ball and clubs players use a football and kick it into a cup in as few shots as possible. The new headquarters – which will include fully serviced offices, bar and catering facilities, function rooms, conference facilities and a footgolf merchandise shop – will have its grand opening on Saturday, 28th February and will then be open to the public seven days a week.
