There is another mailing list for Milton which we suspect a lot of subscribers to Milton News will also want to be on. That’s the E-Cops list for our area. E-Cops is a service run by the local police that lets them keep in touch with the community.
For example here in Milton a recent email was about attempted distraction burglaries in Waterbeach which might come here and another was about a scam which has been operating in local supermarket car parks like Tesco.
We made a conscious decision from the start not to echo postings for E-Cops here as we thought they need encouraging and an obvious measure of the list’s success is the number of subscribers. If we subscribed and then told you via Milton News they would think they had one subscriber rather than 450+.
