The public telephone on Coles’ Road has been reinstated, although apparently not yet connected. The new phone is a cashless phone but will allow 999 calls without charge.

BT have variously claimed that the telephone box is not up for adoption and then that it is up for adoption by charities or local government, but the Parish Council have pressed for it to remain in active service.
