Farmer Rob of Rectory Farm who has been running the popular Maize Maze in the village has announced that it sadly will not be returning. Instead, there will be Pumpkin Patch events at the farm in October. For more information, please see their website here: https://www.themiltonmaizemaze.co.uk/index.html. You can read their full announcement below:
“Almost 18 years ago in July 2003, we set out on a mission to create a fun, clean and safe space for families to enjoy the Summer holidays. Last Summer due to the pandemic, we decided not to host a maze event, after a lot of soul searching we have decided that the time is right to formally end the maize maze era on the farm. It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome nearly half a million of you over the years and we thank you for your support in helping to grow the business into something so special. We hope that you can understand and support us in this decision.
Now with one door closing, another one opens; so excitingly we would like to formally announce the return of a Halloween event at Rectory Farm. This October we will be opening our doors again to the Milton Maze Pumpkin Patch, this will be a pick your own style event and we can’t wait to reveal plans over the next few months. For now though, all we want to say is a very big thank you and we really hope we will see you back here in the Autumn.“
