A Message from the Campaign to Save the Bus

As you may already have heard Cambridgeshire County Council has arranged a meeting for this Wednesday, 20th May, at 5:30pm at Milton CofE Primary school. This meeting is a ‘parents advisory meeting’ to enable us to understand the appeals process. From their letter it is solely to discuss the appeal process and is is not intended to discuss the arguments or merits of the council decision.

However we thought we’d take the opportunity to also update you all at this meeting.

OUR PLAN – If you haven’t already posted your appeal forms you can bring them along this Wednesday to Milton Primary School at 5pm. We will make sure they are delivered to the council next week. If you are intending to write an appeal but haven’t done so yet, we will have forms and pens for you to write something and you can reference the ‘Milton Bus Campaign Appeal Report’, which is being finalised this week. Also bring along any letters of support and petitions you have gathered. We can’t say this enough times: we need EVERYONE to complete their appeal forms and get them to Shire Hall before 29th May. Please tell everyone in your circle of parents what they need to do.

Our current plan is to hand in our letters, petitions and all our evidence next Wednesday, 27th May. This has not been confirmed yet, but please, if you can, keep your diaries clear for this – the more the better for a photo opportunity.
