Free online fitness sessions for people in Fenland

Eddie’s, an award-winning charity based in Waterbeach, are currently are offering free daily fitness sessions to anybody living in Fenland to engage in daily fitness activity. Their programme ‘Eddie’s TV’ was created over the lockdown period to ensure that people with a learning disability could connect and engage with others and they have now teamed up with Healthy Fenland to support even more people who would like to get fit and and may be feeling more isolated during this time.

Eddie’s TV have already delivered over a 1000 online sessions between March and October and 100% of people accessing the service said they would highly recommend the sessions to others.

If you want to get involved, you can email the team at Eddie’s at info@eddies.org.uk so that they can send you a link the sessions they offer. These include dance, Zumba and yoga and they offer a variety of low and high impact activity options. The online keep-fit sessions are delivered via Zoom and are completely free. To take part in any of the activities, participants will need either, a phone, tablet or laptop with the internet.
