Visitors to Milton Country Park are to get a completely revamped toilet block thanks to a £78,000 grant from FCC Communities Foundation. The money will be used to strip out the current facility, install new sanitaryware and washroom fittings, improve ventilation, and add heating with solar thermal panels. The new facilities will include touch-sensor operated cisterns and sinks and better ventilation throughout. New floors and walls will be easier to clean and the building will be redecorated inside and out. Work will begin in November and it is hoped that the new facility will be ready to use early in the New Year.
